VICE Cosmetics

Being “unkaboggable” is something comedian Vice Ganda has proven to the madlang people time and time again. And since so many of us admire his countless transformations, it was no surprise when the launch of his own brand of cosmetics sent fans into overdrive.

Currently, it’s all about the lippie! While the Vice Cosmetics Phenomenal Lip Kits may be reminiscent of a drugstore version of Kylie J., it’s the Good Vibes Matte Lipsticks (P195) that wowed us out of our seats. Matte yet moisturizing, the 6-hour wear time is enough to put us in a good mood. Since our review of the initial collection, the brand has added another 8 gorgeous shades to choose from. So bonggacious!

BLK Cosmetics

“Anne kulit, sabay pa sila!” Another Showtime host to start a beauty brand, Anne Curtis’s BLK Cosmetics is a spot-on representation of her on-cam persona: modern, trendy, feminine, and cute. She comes across as the cool gal pal you need in your life, and the makeup has the same fun, reliable feel.

We’ve been crazy about the Intense Color Liquid Eyeshadow (P299), a part of the brand’s K-beauty collection! Sometimes you just need that quick fix to finish your FOTD, and this makes it a fast and long-wearing experience. Skip the tools, because you won’t even need ‘em.

Kris Life Kit

The latest local celeb collab to steal the scene, the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino openly discussed how precise her vision was in creating her debut line of beauty products with Ever Bilena. There’s no detail too small - she even provided input on having exactly 14 hearts on the packaging because her birthday is on February 14. Yup, she’s a woman who knows what she wants!

Being a staunch #KilayIsLife advocate, she made sure to offer the waterproof Kris Life Kit Brow Liner and Brow Mascara (P275) for eyebrows that can survive from morning to night. Plus points that it’s dual-ended, making it a compact, two-step kilay solution for mapping, filling-in, and grooming.

Lustrous by Nadine Lustre x BYS

She can be sultry. She can be dramatic. She can even collaborate with an Aussie brand to produce a limited edition collection inspired by the dewy glow and tropical vacay vibes of the beach babe! Needless to say, actress Nadine Lustre’s line is also gloriously morena-friendly.

The fan favorite has got to be the eye-catching Eyeshadow Palette in Calypso (P799), because a curated warm palette like that will look good on any skin tone. Light application will produce a summer-y bronzed look, while going all the way will create an instant autumn FOTD. And yes, even the intense pigmentation and creamy texture of the individual shadows are commendable!

Which Pinoy celebrity would you like to see launching their own makeup collection? Not gonna lie: I would grab myself a Paolo Ballesteros contour kit, if such a thing existed!
