Now I know why the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil has a cult following

Nuxe, the famous French pharmacie brand, is finally in the Philippines! You can find their counters inside Beauty Bar. Now there's no need to go to Hong Kong or buy from online sellers to get your Nuxe fix. ^_^ Since the launch a couple of months ago I've fallen in love with this relatively affordable yet clinically certified brand. I've been using three products regularly - the Gentle Toning Lotion (an excellent makeup remover), the Anti-Fatigue Cream, and the best-selling Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil. I adore them all! They're all super hiyang on my skin and work as promised.

I was thinking of doing a post with capsule reviews of all three but I would never finish writing it haha. It's going to be too long! So today let's focus on Nuxe's most popular product, the Huile Prodigieuse (pronounced "hwee prodeejoo") Dry Oil. It retails for roughly P900 for 50ml and about P1,200 for the 100ml - I don't have the exact price yet so don't quote me on that.

What is it, exactly? It's a mix of different essential oils that can be used on the face, hair, nails, and body. Yes, everywhere! It features macadamia seed oil, sweet almond oil, hazel seed oil, and camellia seed oil, among others. It also has tocopherol or vitamin E. What makes it such a winner is that it doesn't feel greasy or sticky when you apply it. After a few minutes, it feels dry already. It also gives a glow to the skin!

The 100ml bottle, which I have here, has a fine spray nozzle. The oil is dispersed evenly and this allows me to apply the oil faster compared to starting out from only one area. I'm just careful not to go past my body to keep the oil from being sprayed to the floor. It's a waste of product otherwise.

The Huile Prodigieuse is particularly famous for its scent, so much that Nuxe even made a fragrance based on it. It's a strong powdery floral with a bit of green to it, rather reminiscent of how La Mer skincare smells like! It's one of those scents that you either really love, or don't like at all. Give it a sniff and decide! Me, I like it. It smells forceful yet personable - just the way I like it.

I LOVE USING THIS ON MY LEGS. If like me you want that subtle JLo glow to trap eyes to your gams, this is the one! It has a version with shimmer for a more high-impact finish. I haven't used it on my face since I prefer milder scents for my moisturizer. On my hair it works to give my dry ends a shot of moisture, and on my hands and nails it's just perfect since it dries so quickly. ^_^ It's also great as a scent if you apply it all over your body; there's no need to spray anything else! It will just waft through your clothes and it actually lasts longer compared to your average alcohol or water-based perfume.

Overall, I highly recommend the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil to anybody who likes multi-purpose products with an elegant scent. I find the price sulit since very little goes a long way! I spray just twice for each leg, once for each arm, once around the neck, and I'm good. Check it out in Beauty Bar soon!
