Natasha celebrates 25 years with a star-studded concert and exciting news

When direct selling in the Philippines is mentioned, Natasha is one of the top brands that comes to mind. From its humble beginnings as a mall boutique, the brand has evolved by transforming its business into a powerhouse that now has an extensive reach overseas. Making it to 25 years is no small feat for any endeavor, so to celebrate its ongoing success, Natasha celebrated its silver anniversary with a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last August 25. “Natasha 25 Tayo! Ikaw Ang Star!” featured celebrity endorsers, fashion shows, and a major announcement that looks to take the company into an exciting new direction!

The program started with a bang as Asia’s Got Talent winner El Gamma Penumbra took the stage. The troupe performed a shadow play about Natasha’s history, tracing from its roots in the early 90’s. The company initially ventured into direct selling using photo albums as makeshift catalogs. From this modest approach, the company has grown to include 24 mall-based stores all over the country. And what started as Natasha offering mainly clothing and shoes for sale has now expanded to include beauty products, gadgets, and partner brands.

The shadow dance was followed by performances by Andrew E, Shantidope, Jett Pangan, and Ian Veneracion. The latter actually made a surprise entrance from the audience area, and later serenaded one lucky audience member who was invited to join the actor onstage.

A circus-inspired performance by Piolo Pascual and Jessy Mendiola followed soon after. He sang and she danced as models styled in whimsical clothing strutted on the stage to showcase Natasha’s Mosaic casual clothing line.

To honor the hardworking team who made the company what it is today, managers, employees, and even longtime dealers were brought on stage and featured in AVPs to share their Natasha experiences. It was heartwarming and inspiring to hear them talk about how they were able to secure their family’s needs over the years through Natasha. Robi Domingo hosted the program, and the brand generously hosted a raffle with cash prizes for lucky ticket holders.

Guess who else is joining Natasha’s lineup of celebrity endorsers! The event served as the perfect venue for Piolo to announce that his son, Iñigo Pascual, is now a part of the Natasha family.

The fashion show continued with Disney and Natasha Kids apparel, with performances by Gracenote and Addlib Kids.

Then it was the teen-centric apparel that took center stage. Models dressed in Freego, Mr. Lee, Petrol, and Tru walked the ramp with the edgier styles of the concert’s sponsors. Pinoy Big Brother alums, McCoy De Leon and Elisse Joson, had a dance number that delighted the McLisse love team’s fans. The Manoeuvres and the Hashtags also danced during this segment.

This was followed by song numbers from Moonstar88, Sue Ramirez, Neocolours, Moira, and Aegis to introduce Natasha’s Beauty and Intimates. Bela Padilla and Ejay Falcon donned pieces from the intimates line during the fashion show.

And now for the show-stopping reveal: Natasha is bringing its shopping experience to the millenial age with a new app! Set to be launched in the next two months, the app will allow users to check product stocks in real time and ensure product availability prior to purchase. Retail customers and potential dealers can also use the app to find a nearby dealer to fulfill their orders and help them apply for their own dealership.

When asked about the brand’s key to success, Natasha regional managers Jocelyn Guerrero, Joseph Taroy, and Karleen Gonzales attributed it to the company’s core values. Emphasis was put on constantly improving customer service, being disciplined, and upholding honesty. They also credited the strong support system among the dealers as one of the keys to longevity. With Natasha fostering a great company culture and making steps to modernize the brand for the next generation, a gold anniversary doesn’t seem so far away!
