May forever sa Ever Bilena

This story is brought to you by Ever Bilena

With super hip releases like multisticks and silicone-y lipsticks, it can be easy to forget that Ever Bilena Cosmetics is actually a decades-old company. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping on the pulse of beauty trends, and making them easily accessible to Filipinos at affordable prices. And yes, this includes using vegan and cruelty-free formulas!

Ever Bilena is currently in the process of adopting the cruelty-free logo in all its packaging, but their formulas are free from animal by-products and are not tested on animals. I think this is a great indicator of how well the company responds to what their customers want and finds a way to keep prices competitive without scrimping on quality. This talent for knowing what Filipino women (and men) want has allowed Ever Bilena to survive and thrive in the extremely competitive beauty market for 37 years, and that certainly merits a unique anniversary bash that saw them literally cruising into the sunset.

The private affair was attended by Ever Bilena endorsers Loisa Andalio, Vickie Rushton, Dianne Medina, and Janica Nam; Careline endorsers Andrea Brilliantes, Maris Racal, and Lou Yanong; EB Advance endorsers Max Collins and Emma Tiglao; Blackwater endorsers Christian Bautista, Ronnie Alonte, Rayver Cruz, and Albert Nicolas; and content creator Michelle Dy. The festivities started early with a hearty breakfast at Nuwa Hotel in the City of Dreams, before the attendees got glammed up for a cruise/photo shoot around Manila Bay.

Aboard the yacht, guests frolicked under the sun and posed for the camera with their favorite Ever Bilena products. They also got to hang out with the EB team, which included COO Silliman Sy and chief sales and marketing director Denice Sy Munez of the original founding family; and EBCI marketing manager Olive Padilla, and the brand managers of Ever Bilena Creole David, Careline Miya Inomata, and Blackwater Ivan Banez.

The event was made extra special by the presence of founder and CEO Dioceldo Sy, who was also celebrating his March 6 birthday early! The Ever Bilena brand was born when he decided to try his luck selling nail polish, so the special dinner that evening included a toast in his honor.

For many Filipinas, Ever Bilena may be the makeup brand that we bought as beginners, but its proving to be a brand we can continue to love and grow with. After all the amazing finds that made their way into our regular circulation last year (Liz still keeps raving about the EB Advance eyeliner!), we can only expect better things from Ever Bilena this 2020 and beyond!
