Aesop Rockin’

Our hands clapping for joy! Known for their minimalist packaging, fantastically rich hand creams, luxurious soaps, and fab lip balm, Australian brand Aesop is set to make its way to Philippine shores soon. Fusing contemporary technology with age-old scientific practices, it’s no wonder that their products have a cult following. No word yet on when it will launch, where it will be, or how the store will look but the design is expected to be locally inspired. The shop will also offer the entire range of Aesop products so we can expect to be able to shop for hair care, skincare, and body care. We’re so curious to try the Parsley Seed Cleanser, Fabulous Face Oil, Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm, and Mandarin Facial Hydrating Cream! We’ll keep you all posted for updates!

It’s Phan-tastic

Ladies and gents, she’s back!!! In a 3-minute video, OG beauty guru Michelle Phan made a reappearance since “leaving” the platform 3 years ago. The video showcased BTS clips of her new lip gloss for EM Cosmetics called the Morning Dew Gloss. Formulated with gelification technology, the gloss gives a wet-looking, crystal clear effect on the lips minus the tacky sticky feeling. We hope this is a sign of more makeup products and videos from Michelle! Check out the video teaser here and shop EM Cosmetics here.

Blend it like Beckham

We know we gave you an update last week but we can finally confirm that Victoria Beckham Beauty has officially arrived! Whether you’re into that smoky London look or just want to spice up your makeup (see what we did there?), this collection is for you. We’ve got our hearts set on the Lid Lustre in Midnight ($36), Satin Kajal Liner in Bordeaux ($26), and the Smoky Eye Brick in Tweed ($54). Shop Victoria Beckham Beauty here.

It’s all a lie

One of life’s greatest challenges is the cat eye flick. No matter how hard you practice or how many times you try, there will be days when they just don’t look right. Well, it looks like Lady Gaga feels the same because she just came out with the biggest beauty hack from Haus Laboratories! The brand has launched their newest baby - a liquid eye liner aptly called the Liquid Eye-Lie-Ner. It’s a super black, matte, and waterproof liner that aims to make lining your eyes easier and quicker. And the best part? She also collaborated with Face Lace to create stick-on flicks. The Armor Wingtips No. 1 are sheets of reusable flicks so you can draw your liner and then just stick on the cat flick. Retailing for P2,000, we’re not sure if this is a little gimmicky or revolutionary, but we are definitely curious! Shop House Laboratories here.
