Keeping Up with Kwarantine

More and more beauty brands are doing their part to help “flatten the curve” during this COVID-19 pandemic. KKW Beauty and Kylie Cosmetics have both announced that they will be halting the deliveries of their products to customers “indefinitely”, following California's  “shelter-in-place” or self isolation protocol. They have also both announced a return/full refund policy for those that have placed orders on their websites. Huda Sweetest

In a time of uncertainty, Huda Kattan is putting the spotlight on freelancers  whose livelihoods have been affected by quarantine restrictions. The beauty mogul has pledged $100,000 to struggling freelancer makeup artists in this time of need. In an emotional video posted to her Instagram, Huda explains how she felt that same uncertainty and need back when she was just starting out in her freelance career. She hopes that in some small way, she too can help those who may need it more. She and her team will be selecting 100 freelancers to donate to, asking followers to tag a freelancer in the post with a reason as to why they may need the help. She hopes that this little act will also inspire others to donate to organizations and help those in need. Good on you Huda for being the light for others!
