Love: Origins Clear Improvements Active Charcoal Mask

I've come a long way for someone who didn't like masking up just a year ago. I thought that it's a superfluous addition to a skincare routine, but when I finally found the right products, masking made sense. It immediately brightens and exfoliates skin without being harsh, and it's a reliable way to get a glow or a softer texture. 

I've already written about my favorite hydrogel mask. This time, I'd love to introduce you guys to my HG mud mask! I've been using this for months now and I just love how well it works! The Origins Clear Improvements Active Charcoal Mask (~P1,700) is a tightening mask that helps clear pores and lift dull skin. 

I use this whenever I'm breaking out or feel small bumps under my skin. This clears all the crap away in  a short amount of time; 20 minutes and my blackheads are considerably reduced.​

It has a clean minty scent but none of the tingle. It starts off as a bluish grey goop then hardens into this black layer. Unlike other mud masks, it's easy to remove and doesn't feel gritty/rough as​ I wash it off. This means that my skin doesn't feel raw afterwards even though it's been exfoliated thoroughly.

A tube is pricey but I think it's worth the cost. I've used Clear Improvements about 10-15 times now and I'm not even halfway through. A little goes a long way! Sulit na rin compared to buying a mask per piece. 

Masks are Origins' best-sellers so I'm looking forward to trying other variants soon. ^_^ Highly recommend this stuff! Try it and lemme know how it goes!
