This cleans naturally: the Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes

I was supposed to include this product in my empties post yesterday but I already threw away the container. Oh well! The Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes (~P500) totally deserves a post on its own anyway. It's a fantastic makeup remover for even thick, long-wearing foundation and primed eyeshadows. It removes everyday makeup, as long as it's not water-resistant or waterproof. I love that it takes only one towelette to clean my whole face!

The towelettes are slightly larger and thicker than your normal drugstore wipe. I fold it in sections, then use the other side to take off whatever's left on my face. It's really quite economical as each pack contains 30 wipes. For someone who wears a whole lotta makeup, it's more convenient and thrifty than using micellar water all the time. You won't need to stock up on cotton pads, for one thing.

As with all Burt's Bees products, the ingredients are impressively natural. It's composed mainly of water, aloe vera leaf juice, white tea extract, cucumber extract, and tocopherol (Vitamin E). It has emollients in the list that help loosen up the makeup. It smells clean and fresh - exactly what the main ingredients are supposed to smell!

I find the formula gentle and non-irritating even when you get it on your eye or an open pimple (yuck but you know it happens). I think this is safe for sensitive skin.

I have a travel-sized version of this given to me by Burt's Bees, but I'm not sure if they sell that here. I really hope they do as wipes are almost a necessity when you're out and about.

Overall, I will definitely purchase the Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes next time I'm in Beauty Bar. It's super sulit if you ask me, and my skin feels nice after every use. ^_^ When I'm wearing water-resistant mascaras, I squirt some Bifesta (or any micellar water) on the wipe and then gently dissolve the gunk with it. If I have waterproof stuff on, I add a proper oil-based eye makeup remover. It just saves a ton of cotton pads!
