My top five lip glosses

I already told you what my top five lipsticks were, so I thought it's finally time to show lip glosses some love! I don't often wear glosses as much as lipsticks, actually, but when I do I make sure they're worth the hair trap. Oh you know what I mean. Glosses are a bane on windy days but these are the ones that I find too pretty to resist.

L-R: Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss Neo, Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited in Corona Orange, VMV Hypoallergenics Lip Glitter Gloss in Cherry Pink, Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Pink Pop, Benefit Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in Hoola

Here's why I love 'em!

Majolica Majorca Honey Pump Gloss Neo. Glosses are by nature flighty things. They get wiped off easily just by drinking and eating. But the Honey Pump Gloss Neo is one of the longest-lasting glosses I've tried. I can eat and still have some gloss left over. I also love how it makes the lips look fuller without being overly thick.

This shade is practically clear except for the multi-dimensional shimmer colors. It's such a great topper for lipsticks! I always use this when I want more shine and glimmer on top of matte lips.

Shu Uemura Ultimate Gloss in Corona Orange. This one is a pretty sheer orange gloss. It's non-sticky and thin on the lips. I can wear it by itself but I like it more on top of orangey or peachy tints/lipsticks.

VMV Hypoallergenics Lip Glitter Gloss in Cherry Fizz. I think this won a beauty award somewhere! It is super pigmented so much that it can be considered as liquid lipstick already. But it feels and shines like lip gloss so let's call it that. I like this red - it is so bright and leaves a pretty stain once the product is gone.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Pink Pop. Revlon, I would have you know, makes nice lip glosses. I particularly liked the ColorBurst and Super Lustrous ones! I'd say Pink Pop is my fave out of the ones I've tried. It's a warm, fairly pigmented pink that looks young and fresh.

Benefit Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in Hoola. This gloss feelsl like liquid lip balm - my lips approve! It's practically colorless once applied so it's nice to use as a lipstick topper. It's super shiny and fills in lip lines wonderfully. I like using it with brown-based lipsticks and nudes to give them some zing.

Here are all the glosses side by side:

You'll love lip gloss even if you dont.

So there! Share what your favorite glosses are, all right? ;)
