Unsung heroes: Beloved products I've yet to rave about

Do you have beauty products that deserve some rave time to all your friends, but don't get it because you've forgotten how awesome they are? I have a few of those! I write about most things I love here on Project Vanity, but a few fall between the cracks. Here are some of my "unsung heroes" - those who have served me faithfully and well, but don't get enough recognition. It's their time to shine!

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (P1,450). I think it was Julia who first told me about this. I swatched it in the store and fell in love with it immediately! It's highly pigmented, easy to blend, doesn't fade, and my shade (Ginger) is perfect on me. It's a bit pricey but every swipe is flawless. I use it on very dark blemishes as my MAC Studio Finish concealer is enough for general blemishes.

I actually got this early this year, and now I'm almost out. It's definitely worth a repurchase!

Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip in 22C (~P1,000). I think I got this last year. I don't normally like lip liner, but this one is special. The light pink shade blanks out my lips and is the perfect base for nude lipstick. It's also my secret for getting such stubborn shades to stay put! Actually, any lipstick on top of it achieves considerably better wear time. I love using this during events as it makes my lips more photogenic!

I highly recommend this specific lip liner if you like nude lips, but can't get them to show up or stay on your pigmented puckers.

Prestige Total Intensity Shadow Stick in Sand Frost (P350). This pink champagne jumbo liner is my go-to when I'm way too lazy to bother with eyeshadow. It instantly brightens my lids, and stays on for hours even without primer. I also love it on my waterline; it makes my eyes less tired-looking, and doesn't fade too quickly even with my teary eyes.

Get this if you don't want to spend a lot of time on pretty eyes!

Etude House Drawing Eye Brow (P148). Gosh, I don't even remember when I got this, but I've used this so many times I've lost count. It takes forever to finish up! It's a dark nutty brown that works for me even when my hair is lighter. It's soft and easy to blend; I also love the spoolie end!

My makeup artist friend told me a couple of weeks ago when I walked into the room: "Your eyebrows are a work of art!" And I was like, "Etude House lang yan, haha."

The Body Shop Beeswax Texturizing Wax (P495). It is a fact universally known that my hair is frizzy. S'just how it is and I've learned not to fight it on a normal day. But when I tried this TBS wax, I never have to worry about frizz! I just get a tiny amount and smooth it all over my hair. I have fine locks so I try not to go overboard with it. I also like the coconut cream smell!
