Cheap n' good: Suesh Concealer & Corrector Pots
Are you looking for a maximum coverage concealer but don't want to spend a ton of money for it? If so, you'll adore the Suesh Concealer & Corrector Pots (P105)! These offer heavy coverage, a creamy, blendable texture, and good staying power. They are meant to be customized together in any palette of your choosing, too! I have here an Empty Magnetic Palette, also from Suesh, but it's P650 and ironically costs more than four concealers. If budget is really tight, you can use a pretty tin box or a CD case. There are also plastic cases available in Watsons or Muji that won't cost a lot.
If you only plan to get one, the individual pots come in a plastic container that will protect it from dirt and other things in your bag.
Back to the concealers! I didn't expect much from these but I was surprised by how pigmented and creamy they are. They are actually poignantly similar to the INGLOT Freedom System Cream Concealer! They have the same wet texture but the Suesh concealers have heavier coverage IMHO. They also set nicely with powder and stays on for over 6 hours. Really sulit at P105 a pot.
You can use these concealers with your finger or a synthetic brush; I recommend a synthetic brush since very little goes a long way and your fingers might not be able to blend such heavy pigmentation properly. You can use a flat paddle synthetic brush, a small buffing brush, and even a small duo-fiber stippling brush to get the most natural finish. It depends on what you have in your collection!
The catch: this product has a strong waxy smell. If you're used to scentless bases then this might be a deal breaker. If you're willing to compromise because of the price then this shouldn't be a problem. At first I was worried about breakouts but I didn't get any from this concealer. If you have sensitive skin though, it might be best to stick to your favorites.
I have four shades: C207, a bright light yellow corrector, C205 which is a neutral mid-tone concealer, C214 which is a darker skintone shade, and C212, a bright pink corrector. Together these four can be combined to conceal pretty much anything on your face - eye bags, blemishes, and scars are easily erased. The pink is very obviously, well, pink, so I mix it with some yellow for my under eyes. This combo really takes away the sleepless nights, I tell you!
Here I'm applying a mix of the yellow and pink concealer. When set with powder, it looks natural and makes my eyes appear fresh!
Overall, I highly recommend the Suesh Concealer & Corrector Pots to anyone looking to have highly pigmented concealers at an affordable price. This is especially useful for makeup artists who need to have several different shades of concealers for their clients! Suesh has so many concealer shades that you're bound to find something for everyone. The brand also has eyeshadow, blush, and contour pots if you're looking to create a makeup palette just for you. ^_^
