Swatched: The Sleek i-Divine Original Palette

Bright and colorful eyeshadow is an acquired taste as much as it is an acquired skill. Not everyone will like the look on themselves, but I believe it's fun to wear once in a while to parties and events. Anyone can pull it off as long as they have neutral blending shades to tone down that flash of eye color.

If color is your jam whenever you're playing with eyeshadow, I think you'll love the Sleek Makeup i-Divine Original Palette (P695). It has 12 smooth and creamy eyeshadows with London-themed shades so vibrant that you don't even need primer. Seriously! All the shades in this palette are solid in a single swipe.

These eyeshadows have a metallic finish. It's not really on trend at the moment seeing as this palette first came out many years ago, but it would make for a fun look anyway. I recommend wearing a single shade (perhaps The Thames or E10) winged out with strong black eyeliner to look chic and edgy!

There's also a nice collection of neutrals in the bottom row although I would hardly call them that. They're quite bright and strong for traditional neutral eye makeup - still very pretty nonetheless.

Top L-R: Black Cab, Royal, London Rain, The Thames, E10, Hyde Park / Bottom L-R: Cream Tea, London Eye, Big Ben, Penny Farthing, Sterling, Banksy

Top L-R: Black Cab, Royal, London Rain, The Thames, E10, Hyde Park / Bottom L-R: Cream Tea, London Eye, Big Ben, Penny Farthing, Sterling, Banksy

As for me, I decided to wear Banksy on the inner part of my lid blended into Hyde Park on the outer part of my lid. Then I applied a touch of Sterling on my crease to bring the look together. I finished it with an orange red lipstick (Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Sunset Orange) because why not, hm? It makes for great contrast.

The downside is that since the powder shadows are so smooth, they are quite fragile. You'll see that Black Cab is broken even though I was careful about storing this palette.

Overall, I recommend grabbing the Sleek Makeup i-Divine Original Palette if you're into eyeshadows. The price is nice at P695 for 12 colors of this caliber. If you're not digging the shades and finish though, Sleek has several more palettes in the neutral and smoky color range, and even in matte finishes! Check them out in Zalora.

Lemme know what you think, as always! Have you tried the palettes from Sleek Makeup yet? I'm a huge fan of the Contouring Blush Palette!

Sleek Makeup is available inside SM Beauty Stores in SM Makati and Mall of Asia.
