Shiseido introduces the new Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Concentrate

The most memorable event I've ever been to was the launch of the Shiseido Ibuki line in Tokyo about two years ago. As part of the press, I was treated to a stay in the The Royal Park Hotel in Shiodome, which is right on top of the Shiseido global headquarters, and a luxurious dinner at the Shiseido Parlour in Ginza. I'll never forget the elegance and beauty of those places, as well as the Shiseido team's amazing attention to detail. It was an unforgettable experience!

A couple of weeks ago, I had a taste of that luxury again when Shiseido invited me to a degustation dinner at the St. Francis Shangri-La Place penthouse. The five-course meal was served by The Goose Station, with a menu custom-made by none other than Chef Rob Pengson. I loved how Shiseido made the penthouse their own, too. They brought in branded plates, napkins, throw pillows, and lots of flowers to decorate the rooms. I felt like I was transported in a classy lounge somewhere in Tokyo. <3

A delicious dinner to bring out that glow: Foie Gras Taho as a Glow Enhancing Starter, Pumpkin Soup as a Radiance Intensifier, Tuna Crab Salad for Omega Boosting, Mindanao Styled Chicken Thighs as the Rejuvenating Entree, and finally Calamansi Tart as the Skin Brightening Desert.

This exclusive dinner was to launch the new Shiseido Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Concentrate, the latest addition to the brand's best-selling Ultimune line. The Ultimune Eye is created to uniquely strengthen the delicate skin around the eye area and help protect against environmental stressors that can lead to wrinkles, dark circles and other signs of aging. This highly concentrated serum creates a deeply hydrating, dewy veil that helps protect against impurities and oxidation.

It's meant to be a pre-eye cream serum that will boost your fave eye cream's potency. The thin, gel-like texture sinks into the sensitive skin around your eyes almost instantly, moisturizing it from deep within. You can actually turn this into your daily eye cream but you might want to add something more targeted to solve your specific eye issues!

Sounds exciting? Try out the new Shiseido Ultimate Eye Power Infusing Concentrate the next time you're at your favorite Shiseido counter. I believe it retails for around P3,000 for a 15ml bottle. ^_^
