These are the nine brands we want to see on Sephora PH, STAT!

Pinay beauty lovers rejoiced when Sephora.ph went live last year! Since then, they have slowly started bringing in well-loved brands from the US Sephora such as Too Faced, Kat von D, Marc Jacobs, Hourglass, Fresh, and most recently, Natasha Denona. And while we are ever so grateful to finally have these brands within our reach, we can’t help but wish that Sephora would bring in these brands, too!

Urban Decay

Those of us who are a little bit older will remember that Urban Decay used to be available at Rustan’s up to the early 2000’s. Sadly, the brand didn’t receive much local attention then, which is unfortunate because they would later on launch the Naked eyeshadow palettes. These always fly off the shelves not just in the US but there is a strong demand for them here, too. They're one of the most popular pabili items from abroad and have so many fakes (you'll find Naked 7 palettes in tiangges!). And don’t forget the cult-favorite eyeshadow base Primer Potion. Liz also raves about the All Nighter Liquid Foundation. We could go on and on…

Tarte

Ah, another makeup brand where we simply don’t know where to start. We PV girls show love for the 12-hour Amazonian Clay Blushes, which is one of the most long-wearing powder blushes we’ve tried. The Shape Tape concealer is a popular choice for concealing, highlighting, and contouring. We also love their array of palettes for in different combinations for different needs, like the Tartelette in Bloom eyeshadow palette.

Anastasia Beverly Hills

Anastasia Beverly Hills first became prominent because of brow products such as the popular Brow Wiz and Brow Pomade. They didn’t stop there, though, and later on launched more drool-worthy products such as the Modern Renaissance eyeshadow palette, Contour Kits, and several Glow Kits, each one prettier than the last.

Clarisonic

This is the brand that started the cleansing brush craze, and prompted other brands to come up with more affordable versions. Despite the hefty price tag, these brushes continue to be popular. I’ve had mine for almost four years, and I do believe it’s worth the investment!

Sunday Riley

We can only dream about getting our hands on this oh-so-expensive skincare brand! One of their most well-known products, the Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment is priced at a whopping $105! We'd love to know why. We also want to get our hands on their potent facial oils like the Luna Sleeping Night Oil and the UFO Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil.

Peter Thomas Roth

We so want to try their selection of masks (that come in huge tubs BTW) for every skin concern, especially their Cucumber Gel Mask for dry skin. Plus, they currently have a rose skincare line with Hello Kitty packaging - two of our favorite things rolled into one! How could we resist?

Bite Beauty

Bite Beauty is proof that you can reach legendary status even though you carry only one type of makeup: lip products. Believing in the philosophy that “You eat what you put on your lips so your lipstick should be good for you,” Bite Beauty products are made with food-grade ingredients that have become popular both with organic and mainstream beauty lovers. We’d love to try their Agave Lip Mask, and of course, their large selection of lipsticks!

Drunk Elephant

Natural meets clinical with newbie brand Drunk Elephant. At less than four years old, this brand is one of the fastest growing brands in Sephora US and is frequently sold out. Their products are mostly natural and don’t contain parabens, silicones, fragrances including essential oils but incorporate clinical-level acids. A favorite, for example, is the Sukari Babyfacial that contains 27% AHA and 2% BHA. We want our faces to be as smooth as a baby’s bottom, too.

Colourpop

One of the newest brands to join Sephora’s roster, Colourpop already has a loyal fan base locally, and it’s easy to see why. Also less than four years old, Colourpop catapulted to fame with their budget-friendly Lippie Stix and lip liners, but now their highlighters and eyeshadow palettes have become must-have products as well. Good thing that Colourpop does ship internationally! Let’s face it, though - our lives would be hella lot easier if we could just order it from Sephora PH instead of having to wait then hauling our butts to the post office.

We’re crossing our fingers and toes that these brands will come to our shores soon! What would you like to see in our local Sephora?
