We love travel-sized minis! Here’s exactly what you’ll find inside the Sephora PH Mini Mart

This story is brought to you by Sephora.

Even when shopping online, people have different approaches. Some prefer to look at a brand category and check out what’s new from there, while others simply browse the featured products on the home page. The budget-conscious might head straight for the Sales tab, or simply check their carts to see if what they like is on promo.

Whatever your shopping habits are, retailers have to pay attention and design the shopping experience to be easy and enjoyable. Sephora PH is a pro at this, and constantly innovates new ways for us to shop! They forever changed the online beauty shopping landscape started by when they first launched in 2016, with Filipino beauty lovers finally having access to brands that we used to only read about/watch online. For those who wanted to first physically try the products before buying, Sephora hosted a pop-up shop in Megamall with plans to open more.

This time around, it’s like Sephora found out about my obsession with miniatures. The newly launched Sephora Mini Mart is a selection of trial and travel-sized beauty products that tug at my heart- and purse strings with their adorableness. Whether for testing, travel, or simply adding to my collection of tiny beauty products I don’t have the heart to use, the four categories offer a great selection of good finds. Here’s what to expect!

Cover The Bases

Score the Becca Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder (P1200 for 5g, P2500 for 10g), which is a unique formula that smoothes skin while leaving it looking misted. This powder offers something completely different from the usual tired, cakey look of typical setting powders.

You can also swatch the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer (P990 for 15ml, P1850 for 32ml) and find out if the hype about it is true. The brand’s top selling product is the 50-shade foundation,so we expect that RiRi has had plenty of chances to experiment on the best formula for that primer!

Eye and Lip Candy

Try adding more wow to your brow with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Dipbrow Gel in Taupe (P1150). This browcara is supposed to be a compact, more beginner-friendly version of the cult fave ABH Dipbrow Pomade, which can be a challenge to apply.

As a beauty guru herself, Huda Kattan knows what looks and colors can serve your fiercest #instaglam eyes. Complete that eye look with the 9-pan Huda Beauty Obsessions Precious Stones Eyeshadow Palette (P2095) that offers a complete day-to-night eye color wardrobe. With its collection of softer nudes and deeper browns, you can create the easiest day looks and simply pump them up with any of the four gold to bronze glitter shades to make yourself night-time ready!

Skincare Snacks

What does an HG skincare routine feel like? Get to know firsthand by assembling your own trial kit of internet faves. Check out the Pixi Glow Tonic (P407 for 15ml, P995 for 100ml, P1990 for 250ml) for gentle exfoliation. This glycolic toner is such a hit, it has even inspired the brand to come up with a complete glycolic routine, from facial wash to serum to moisturizer!

Follow that up with the Caudalie Beauty Elixir (P848 for 30ml, P2658 for 100ml,) a brand known for its vineyard-inspired ingredients. This French brand focuses on clean and natural beauty. Doing away with all the fillers and fuss, the Beauty Elixir mist is a particular online fave for priming the face for makeup and refreshing a powdery base.

Kopari is a sulfate-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, cruelty-free, and vegan beauty brand that actually sources coconuts from small family farms here in the Philippines! They incorporate coconuts all their products, including skincare, shower essentials, and even deodorants. The Kopari Mini Coconut Oil Deodorant (P1440 for 2 x 26g) provides odor protection while smelling deliciously of the fruit. The natural properties of coconut also helps to ward off the odor-causing bacteria.

Perfecting Treats

Don’t neglect your body and hair! Ouai is a brand created celebrity stylist Jen Atkin. Coming from the talented hands that have created strategically tousled looks for supermodels Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Rosie Huntington-Whitely (to name a few) this brand says “yes” to real hair, the way it was made and meant to be worn. A mini Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil (P990 for 45ml, P1849 for 100ml) would be perfect for adding a healthy shine to your tresses!

Cuteness aside, these minis perform a rather important function. We say YMMV (your mileage may vary) to both skincare and makeup products, as our personal Holy Grails may not perform as well for other people. A lot of beauty cult faves are, sadly, on the pricier end of the spectrum, so it’s understandable that shoppers would not want to risk blowing money on pricey product that they aren’t even sure will work for them. Having trial sizes (and lower prices) is a great way for more people to discover what they like with less risk.

Itching to cart off some minis? Visit the Sephora Mini Mart to view the full roster of products, and make sure to input PROJECTVANITY at the checkout for an additional 10% off! Yep, we love you back!
