Quick Rave: The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is a lip savior

The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (P950 for 20 grams) has been around a few years now following the massive success of the Laneige Sleeping Mask. It was the first overnight lip treatment I’ve heard of - not the say it’s the first, of course, but it seems to be one of the first products in this category that became popular. ANYWAY. I just want to rave about this little pot of goodness, because it’s been keeping my lips alive these days.

I’ve had this for a while (about 1.5 years actually) but never got the appeal. I didn’t use to have dry lips. Maybe because I had balm or lipstick on almost every day, and this kept my lips sufficiently moisturized and protected. But since I’ve just been home for almost 50 days now wearing makeup or balm only occasionally, the dryness has caught up with me. So I found my Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in the corner of my dresser and went to work.

I don’t use this every day, only on days when my lips start to chap. I slather a generous amount right before I sleep and my lips are so smooth and soft the morning after! This is a very thick balm that’s a bit hard to wipe off, so use it only when you really don’t plan to eat or drink. It coats the lips in a thick sealed layer so that the moisture stays inside; this is great especially for those who sleep in an air conditioned room.

The variant I have is Vanilla and it smells light and sweet. There are other scents too that you might like.

This stuff works! Try it if you haven’t yet. You can get Laneige in their Lazada Flagship Store. I was going to say that you can get it on their official store in Shopee too, but then I saw this announcement from the official Laneige PH Facebook Page, so shop at your own caution.
