These are the eight things that beauty editors can't live without

Finding that holy grail beauty product that you can’t live without is like finding and setting your eyes on your one true love in the world of beauty - you want to keep it forever and tell everyone that you won’t be looking back because it has completely changed your life!

While the Internet is at our disposal to dig through other beauty enthusiasts’ vanities and purses for their absolute beauty must-haves, we decided to go further and ask three beauty editors on what beauty products hold a special place in their hearts (and possibly, why we need to try them, too.)

I have only two products [that I absolutely consider life-changing]. The first is Epiduo, which is a 2% adapalene benzoyl peroxide gel I buy from Mercury Drug. It not only stopped my acne, it also inhibited oil production so my pores seemed less engorged. The other is Embryolisse [Lait-Crème Concentre] moisturizer. It’s the only one that calms any flare-ups when my skin decides to act up (I have reactive skin).

The Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum is the ultimate serum for me! As a working mom, I can get pretty lax or lazy with my nighttime skin care routine (too. freaking. tired.) but I make sure to apply ANR before bedtime. It’s my not-so-secret weapon against skin fatigue and dullness, and lets me wake up looking refreshed - even if I got just a few hours of shut-eye. Super lifesaver!

I wasn’t really a fan of toners until I tried the Pixi Glow Tonic! It’s a gentle tonic that has 5% glycolic acid to exfoliate (as well as brighten and tone) but doesn’t cause any visible peeling. It’s perfect for rejuvenating tired skin, and also helps address any discoloration. I always rave about this to my friends - I've actually converted a number of them to become glow tonic users!

The Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Concealer really does it all for me: hides under-eye darkness, flawlessly covers up blemishes, and gives skin an instant radiance boost. I usually skip the foundation when I’m using this - small dollop can be enough for the entire face if you have just minor blemishes. It’s a bit pricey, yes, but it’s so worth it. One tube usually lasts me up to three months!

I would switch up mascara types and brands a lot before - until the Happy Skin Eye Am The One Holy Grail Mascara came to my life. It beautifully lifts my lashes even if I'm (always) too lazy to curl them (though they have a nice, natural curl). I also like how its formulation doesn't weigh my lashes down. The strands of my lashes are naturally so-so in terms of length, and this provides all the lengthening and thickening they need.

In my early 20s, around 2012 to 2013 (before our nation became obsessed with eyebrows on fleek), I discovered K Palette in its early years in the country. I did not care at all about my eyebrows back then, save for my regular threading sessions to keep them groomed, until I tried out the K-Palette Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow. It literally transformed my eyebrows without much effort on my part because the formula is so efficient. It's still the most legit 2-way eyebrow anything for me!

I used to love experimenting with lipsticks - hot pinks, reds, purples, I've tried them all in my early 20s. And then I had my lazy phase, and I started wearing lipstick less and less and less. Early this year, fortunately, I found my lipstick soul mate. I learned that MAC Cosmetics put together a makeup kit for the Miss Universe contestants, made up of their best-selling products, and in it was one of their Satin Lipsticks in Twig, a soft muted brownish-pink shade that I just couldn't get enough of from the moment I tried it. It was the first time I ever finished a tube of lipstick!
