I am a self-confessed Laura Mercier fan. Her products are some of my first “big-girl” makeup, most of which I still repurchase up to this day. The Translucent Loose Setting Powder (P1,650~) for exaple is one of those beauty cult-favorites that I find to be truly worth the hype, and I’ve yet to find a more affordable dupe! I also love her Tinted Moisturizer while Liz recommends the Secret Camouflage Concealer for really dark blemishes and oily skin.

Laura’s story is quite inspiring. At 17 years old, she studied painting in France until her mother convinced her to take on a different canvas – one she has developed since into what we now know as “the Flawless Face.” And before that leads you to dream of absolutely perfect skin, Laura had a unique “flawless has many faces” mantra that actually encourages me to find my own version of flawless.

This year, Laura Mercier celebrates her company’s 20th year with a very special, shouldn’t-be-missed release. As the name suggests, the Iconics Collection (P10,500) is a beauty treasure trove of Laura’s most iconic products. These are the makeup items most loved by her fans worldwide, which include famous celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker, Lea Michele, Kate Beckinsale, and Eva Mendes.
