FYI: In Her Element is now available in Beauty Bar stores
Some of you may know that I started beauty blogging while I was in college almost ten years ago. I was a poor student in UP Manila, but I had some income from freelance writing gigs so I could buy makeup here and there. Still, I'd save up all my allowance and eat the cheapest lunch everyday just so I can shop for things to review! I started with drugstore brands but eventually worked up to pricier but better products.
I remember that one of the very first "expensive" things I bought was a Prestige palette in Beauty Bar. I remember going inside the store so many times, exploring and swatching everything, before deciding on that 750-peso face and eye palette. I don't have it anymore and unfortunately my review got lost when I moved to a different blogging platform, but Beauty Bar has always been my happy place from the beginning. It's where I got to discover cool, good-quality brands that I wouldn't have heard of otherwise.
In the ~almost~ ten years of my beauty career, Beauty Bar has been part of it every step of the way. It's where I held the first ever Project Vanity Anniversary event (thanks to Nikki Martel of BB!). It's where I go for cult brands like Smashbox, Artdeco, Cargo and Nuxe.
This is why it means so much to me that In Her Element, my company's own proudly Philippine-made skincare brand, is now available in select Beauty Bar stores. We pitched it to Ms. Reena Rosario, Merchandise General Manager of Beauty Bar a few months ago and she immediately said yes! We couldn't believe it! We're a small brand and we still have a long way to go, but Ms. Reena believed in us from the get-go. *tear*
