Store Tour: What to expect at the Dior Flagship Boutique in Manila
You know the popular saying, spend money on experiences and not things? Dior’s Flagship Boutique in the Philippines challenges that adage. Their new space in Greenbelt 5 spanning 165 square meters is all about giving you the full experience of being part of the Dior universe. I’ve been to a few beauty stores but I am stunned by how much detail and love the Dior team put in creating this store.
There are three zones: fragrance, makeup, and skincare. Each zone features the highlights of Dior’s collections, and has a look distinct from each other. The store itself has a harmonious look but you really feel like you’re entering a different area when you move across each zone. On top of that, Dior’s Greenbelt 5 store also carries the brands signature silk scarves and sunglasses which previously can only be found in their main designer store in Greenbelt 3.
The perfume section has got to be my favorite. They have the La Collection Privée, Dior’s beauty couture perfume collection. It features candles (a hit during the pandemic), 22 unique scents, bath and body products, and even a line of scarves called Mitza Scarves. The scarves are meant to be perfumed and then worn on your wrist and hair so that the scent stays on during the day! What a clever idea.
If you walk to the back, you can spot displays of Dior’s iconic fragrances, J’Adore, Miss Dior, and Sauvage. You can also try on sunglasses (the perfect accessory for the cool girl look) and check out the gift wrapping area.
In the middle is the makeup zone. It’s designed to capture the frenetic energy and creativity of the backstage during Dior couture shows! Swatch their lipsticks (the best sellers) and oooohhh at their limited edition cases.
Finally, explore the skincare zone to experience Dior’s Capture Totale and Prestige lines. Dior’s skincare focuses more on age management and general skin brightening and they have a full routine for your skin concerns. You must try their in-house machine that photographs your skin close up and analyzes it right on the spot. Last month, they also opened the Dior Prestige La Suite, where loyal customers can have facials using Dior’s full line. The private room is beautiful adorned with gold hues and soft shades of champagne. It’s a great way to relax in the middle of shopping!
We’ve all been shopping heavily online these past couple of years, so I really missed shopping in such a well-designed and thoughtful space such as Dior’s flagship boutique. Come visit and experience the Dior world!
