Beauty Roundup: Blythe by Careline lipsticks, makeup collaborations, a new ABH palette, and more!

Friday is finally here and it’s time for another beauty roundup, everyone! I don’t know if you remember but last week’s beauty roundup was quite short. This week is going to be the opposite, which is why it’s best to go right at it. Here are this week’s beauty news!

Your lips, but prettier

New from Blythe by Careline is the Lip Treat (P195) - a selection of flattering creamy matte lipsticks that are enriched with Vitamin E, lightweight, pigmented, and non-drying. The Lip Treat comes in five versatile shades - Oatmeal (warm peach nude), Cheesecake (burnt peach nude), Tiramisu (brick brown nude), Banoffee (terracotta nude), and Pudding (caramel nude). Aren’t they perfect for everyday wear?

Halloween is here

ColourPop is letting us enjoy Halloween a bit early with another makeup collaboration with the Sanderson Sisters - the Disney Hocus Pocus Coven Crew Collection! Up for grabs are the Witching Hour 12-pan palette, 3 Fresh Kiss Lip Crèmes, 3 Super Shock Shadows, a spider face stamp, a hand mirror, and a Sol Body black flame candle. Ah, I’m so excited for Halloween!

Path to primrose

It’s been quite some time since Anastasia Beverly Hills released an eyeshadow palette, which is why so many people (myself included, of course) were excited when Norvina announced the new Primrose Palette. What a romantic palette, right? And yes, they’ve revamped the look of their eyeshadow palettes - slimmer and longer packaging, no more dual-ended brush, oversize eyeshadow pans, and two blushes!

In a good light

Hourglass just released its Holiday 2021 Collection that features three new Ambient Lighting Palettes - Ambient Lighting Edit Universe, Ambient Lighting Edit Universe Unlocked, and Ambient Lighting Palette Volume III. While I personally love both the Edit palettes, I’m most thrilled about the Volume III palette because it’s created for medium-deep to deep skin tones.

It’s a beauty community

Smashbox announced major news this week when they shared that they’ve adopted two most-loved Becca Cosmetics products - the Under Eye Brightening Corrector and Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop. You may have heard that Becca is winding down operations to a close, but it seems that fellow Estee Lauder brand Smashbox has taken their best-sellers under their wing. Both products will be available on the Smashbox website this coming October. Ah, more stories like this one in the beauty community, please!

Okay, that’s it for this week! See you again next Friday!
