Beauty Roundup: Lipstick reinventions from MAC and Dior, and a brand’s arrival on Sephora Philippines!

Hello, PV Community! Since it’s the month of January, let’s quickly talk about what’s something new you’d want to do or try this year - beauty-related, of course. For me, it’s false lashes! What’s yours? Sound off in the comments!

Ruby Woo-hoo

When talking about red lipstick, one just cannot exclude MAC’s Ruby Woo (P1,150) from the conversation. After all, it’s an iconic lipstick. Now, to celebrate this lipstick color, MAC created three new formulas for it - the Powder Kiss Lipstick in Ruby New (P1,250), Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolour in Ruby Boo (P1,550), and Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Ruby Phew (P1,500)! Collectively, they are known as Ruby’s Crew. Which one’s your favorite?

Oh my greige

Inspired by Christian Dior’s original greige color, Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Christian Dior Makeup, reinvented Rouge Dior 100 Nude Look in the couture velvet finish along with three new shades - Nude Touch, Nude Style, and Nude Line. With these, expect soft beiges and browns that suit all lip tones. We absolutely adore this, Dior!

Patrick Ta-da

World-renowned celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta’s eponymous makeup brand is finally available at Sephora Philippines! So far, the website carries four brushes, the Major Glow Lip Shine Lip Gloss, and the Monochrome Moment Velvet Blush. We can’t for more products, of course, but we’re so happy that the brand is here! We’re ready to give major glam!

Okay, that’s it for this week. See you again next time!
