Last week, our Beauty News Roundup featured delicious treats from the world of beauty. I’m happy to report that this week’s edition will be just as sweet! Let’s take a look at Colourette’s newest Eye Gotchu Collection. NARS makes a new addition to their Afterglow lippie lineup with the new Afterglow Lip Oil. Estée Lauder collaborates with Ladurée, home of the most famous French macarons! Last but not least, Sabrina Carpenter releases a new fragrance named Me Espresso. So have you got a sweet tooth? Colourette Eye Gotchu Collection
Last December 10th, local beauty brand Colourette launched the Eye Gotchu Collection–a set of “lifeproof everyday eye essentials made to slay and stay.” A mascara, brow laminating mascara, gel and liquid eyeliners, brow pen, and eye palettes constitute the collection. Colourette Lash Love Lifeproof Mascara (P399) promises to deliver it all: length, volume, and lift with waterproof, smudgeproof, and long-lasting wear. NARS Afterglow Sheer Hydrating Lip Oil
Fans of NARS Afterglow, rejoice! A new formulation joins the party: the new NARS Afterglow Sheer Hydrating Lip Oil ($28). Described as “A sensorial gel-oil gloss with long-lasting hydration and sheer shine,” it definitely sounds like a cross between a lip gloss and a lip oil. Infused with Omegas 3 and 6, Vitamins A and E, raspberry seed oil, and pomegranate extract, it also delivers intense nourishment to your lips.

It comes in four (4) shades: Faraway (500 Apricot Tea), Twirl (507 Rose Pink), Orgasm (777 Peachy Pink with Golden Shimmer), and Wondrous (520 Raspberry). The NARS Afterglow Sheer Hydrating Lip Oil will be available starting December 18th, 2024 on sephora.com.

Estée Lauder x Ladurée
How sweet it is: Estée Lauder collaborates with Ladurée, resulting in a makeup lineup that looks good enough to eat. The limited-edition collection drops January 2025. We might not have the full details yet, but here’s what we know so far: the Lip Oil Set has three (3) spring colors in opal, baby pink, and mauve rose: Glacé / Sucre / Rose.

Pure Color Lipsticks are also part of the limited release, honoring the signature Ladurée celadon interiors and filigree design. Two shades are to be featured: 420 Verious Rose (cream finish) and 500 Indulgent (refill, crystal finish).

The Double Wear Second Skin Blur Cushion Makeup will be available in special macaron-like packaging in Pink or Green. The limited collection drops on January 2025, and I can hardly wait!

New Sabrina Carpenter Fragrance: Me Espresso
Sabrina Carpenter releases a new fragrance in her Sweet Tooth fragrance lineup: Me Espresso ($59.99). Described to be “as addictive as Espresso,” the fragrance blends gourmand Cocoa Powder and Espresso Bean with floral Night-Blooming Jasmine and Vanilla Orchid. Notes of Buttery Biscotti, Caramel Drizzle, and Sugared Amber add warmth and sweetness to the scent.

Sabrina Carpenter has already made a name for herself as a singer, songwriter, actress, and performer, and now aims to make an impression with her own brand of fragrances. Inspired by “sophisticated scents with a touch of sweetness,” Me Espresso is her fourth release. Sweet Tooth, Caramel Dream, and Cherry Baby were released in 2022, 2023, and early 2024 respectively.
