Filthy Fan-tastic… Or Not

It wouldn’t be 2018 if another Hollywood celebrity didn’t come out with a line of merch - whether it be clothes, shoes, or makeup. Which is why when controversial actress Bella Thorne released her makeup line called Filthy Fangs, the internet was not having it. The punk-rock bombshell has released two colorful eyeshadow palettes in Ocean Drive and South Beach, which are priced at a whopping $50 and $60 respectively. The 9-pan palettes feature a bunch of crazy colors, including some chunky glitter shades. Despite the palettes selling out in a couple of hours, the actress has been getting tons of flack for producing “cheap-looking products” and for “copying a famous palette by Juvia’s Place”. Netizens have also been comparing the prices to Kylie Jenner’s $38 9-pan palette and Rihanna’s $58 16-pan palette, which have them puzzling (and angry) at the steep price tag. Talk about an epic glow! Our favorite full-face maven NikkieTutorials has just teased a new product, and it is looking glorious! After announcing on her social media that she was working on a third collection with Ofra Cosmetics, the beauty guru then teased a new highlighter called Space Baby. With an icy cool-toned glow, the highlighter looks a bit holographic and super stunning. Space Baby is set to launch on the Ofra site on August 21, so make sure to mark your calendars!

When it comes to setting powders, I think we can all agree that Laura Mercier leads the pack. Thousands of her Translucent Loose Setting Powders are sold every minute, and it looks like the newest addition to her line will be getting a lot of fans, too! The new Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow ($38) promises to perfectly set makeup while imparting a “glow from within” thanks to the addition of glow pearls. The powder is touted to have a 12-hour wear time but unlike the OG powder, it will only be available in the shades Translucent and Translucent Medium Deep.
