We live in the future: 10 beauty gadgets that promise to make our life easier

We've talked about coughing up cash for effective skincare and quality makeup but after rounding up five must-try beauty gadgets, we realized that there's more to beauty than simply investing in products. The gadgets we've tried from Glamcor, Suesh, and Crane have really made such a difference in our beauty routines (and inspired a Hollywood mirror DIY!) that we've decided to take a look at what else is out there. Read on to see what's on our current gadget wishlist!

SKINCARE

Most releases of beauty gadgets are often geared towards skincare, the most common being the cleansing brushes or facial massagers. These aid in exfoliating during the cleansing process, and may even have different brush attachments. If the brush has a vibrating option, it can even be used as a facial massager. So far, Liz has tried the Mary Kay Invigorate Cleansing Brush and the Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush, which both did wonders for helping her get rid of blackheads!

Clinique now also has different brush heads for applying skincare and foundation. Pretty cool, no? The skincare applicator, with a ridged metal surface, is already available locally. As far as we know the foundation head is not yet in stores but we will let you know when it is.

Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush

At Sephora PH, there's a brand called Foreo that is all about skincare devices. Aside from the usual cleansing brushes (they have specialized ones for different skin types), they also have a facial massager specific to the eye area. The Iris Eye Massager is designed with their Alternating T-Sonic technology, and promises to decrease the appearance of puffiness, dark eye circles and even fine lines. It also claims to help you skin absorb care products better.

Have you ever wondered if your skin is getting enough moisture to stay healthy and well-balanced? Dry and oily-skinned gals alike can make good use of the Digital Skin Moisture Analyzer we found from Kaymu.ph. It's similar to skin analysis machines used by skincare companies for their promotions. This will help you address your skin concerns more thoroughly, and even inform you how well your care products are performing.

You add a more professional touch to at-home facials with the Revitalize Microdermabrasion Kit from Aesthetique Solutions. It's like a home version of the diamond peel services offered at spas/skincare centers that remove acne scars and discoloration.

HAIR

The Dyson Supersonic Dryer made its rounds on the Internet early this year as it immediately captivated us with its weird shape. Yes, this sci-fi dryer is made by Dyson as in the electric fan and vacuum cleaner manufacturer! It's made with a powerful motor that promises to dry hair faster with much less of the noise. It retails for 299 GBP (yikes).

MAKEUP

What's a beauty gadget article without makeup tools? First up is the vibrating mascaras, wherein the brushes do most of the work for you. Maybelline released some in 2009 but I'm not sure if they're still available. I did find the Estee Lauder TurboLash All Effects Motion Mascara on the brand's website though. Volume, curl, length, and separation is achieved with the vibrating LashSonic Brush!

Airbrush makeup kits are no longer just for the pros. Brands now offer the option of getting a starter kit or a deluxe/pro kit. You can find both options on BeautyMNL, which carries the Glambox brand. Kits include a compressor, gun, adaptor, airbrush holder, airhose, and other accessories with a bonus of some liquid makeup.
