The Weekly Haul: Shiseido, Estee Lauder, and Sleek Makeup

In the almost eight years I've been writing about beauty products, I've realized that there are only a few face care brands that work for me consistently. I might change my routine, even the products in my counter, but the brands remain more or less the same. Two of my mainstays, for example, are Estée Lauder and Shiseido.

They are not cheap, I admit. But I find them worth the re-purchase simply because they work so well for me, plus they take forever to finish! I'm always excited to see their new releases as well as revisit their core products.

I have with me the reformulated Shiseido White Lucent line. This is one of Shiseido's best sellers, but like everything under the brand, it is constantly being reformulated to improve its performance. This might be the third time already, at least what I remember from when I started to ardently follow Shiseido.

I've been using the toner/softener, blemish serum, and moisturizer in the last few days and it's been great so far! I will definitely update you when I've used these a little longer.

The Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair line is an old favorite. I documented my four week use of the serum before and I was able to see an improvement! The eye cream on the other hand is something beauty bloggers whisper about when we get together haha. I know a lot of my friends love it! I'm going to give it a serious try because my eye bags are bothering me something major lately

Lastly, I have some products from Sleek Makeup. I'm not keeping these for myself though! The lucky Commenter of the Month for February is taking everything home. Mechanics are linked in the poster on the upper right ad, so good luck!

There you have it. ^_^ Did you find anything interesting this week?
