The Project Vanity Top 20 Cosmetics Finds in 2015

I've already posted about my best skincare finds, this time, get ready for the makeup that made my 2015 prettier! I've toned down my looks in the last few years and it shows in my daily picks. I prefer reliable formulas that won't break down on me if I'm out the whole day, as well as colors that are neutral and easy to match with everything. Texture is also important; it has to feel luxe while being easy to work with.

If these are the kinds of products you're looking for, then you'll love what I've got lined up for you. ^_^ Enjoy reading the reviews by clicking the links below!

Photo Filter Creamy Powder Foundation. I love this because it's like you've layered primer, liquid foundation, and then powder by only using a single product. It has this super smooth, refined finish that only typically comes from layering. It stays on pretty well too!

Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Radiant Primer. Didn't use primer before until I discovered this gem. It just makes makeup stick and prevents it from caking. The blue one brightens skin while the peach one evens out the skin tone, as far as I've noticed.

Shiseido Perfecting Stick Concealer. I initially didn't love this concealer, but later on realized that it blends beautifully and invisibly. I find it to be a great overall concealer as it can be used on both blemishes and under eyes.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. This one is my fave for concealing blemishes. While the Shiseido concealer is greta as an all-around product, I use the NARS when I need something with heavier coverage.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Liquid Makeup. Every girl needs a bad skin day foundation. This is mine! It has a matte finish and it stays on all day. It covers up redness and light scars, plus it looks great in pictures.

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. The coverage of this liquid foundation is surprisingly heavy! It can make rough, scarred skin look even without looking fake. I like the watery, easy to blend texture, as well as my shade match in Barcelona. It looks a bit too yellow at first but it blends well later on.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation. This looks like skin, and is ridiculously photogenic. I go for this when I want an invisibly flawless skin that doesn't look too made up in person and on cam.

L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara. There is something in the brush of Miss Manga that lifts my lashes and molds it into a pretty shape. I love this for lengthening! It doesn't smudge or smear, too.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. For the record I still think that this mascara is magic. It curls my lashes WITHOUT THE NEED FOR A LASH CURLER. If you've seen my straight, downward-pointing eyelashes then you know why this is nothing short of a miracle for a mascara. Love it.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. This is my party mascara because it's black as night and looks like falsies on me. I don't wear falsies because I find the process too time-consuming so I fake it with the Great Lash. Like the other two mascaras above, this doesn't move once it has set.

Eye of Horus Dual Brow Perfect Pencil in Husk. I always get a compliment when I wear this! The color is light and natural, but gives my brows the definition I need for my daily look. The mascara at the other end neatens my brows and keeps them intact all day.

K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner in Brown Black. Black used to be my go-to liner color, until the day I discovered K-Palette's Brown Black. It's not as harsh as the usual black! It seems more integrated to my eye and hair color.

Pixi Brow Powder Palette. This palette is a fave because it has all the colors I need for creating THE ultimate eyebrow look. It has the four creamy colors I need for sculpting my brows to perfect. Pigment stays on too, even when I sweat and oil up.

Eye Candy Eye Shadow Palette in EC-02. If you're looking for a tight, well-curated neutral palette where you'll use every color, this is the one you've been waiting for! Love that peachy pink gold and deep burgundy.

BYS Nude Eyeshadow Palette. The Internet says this is a very good dupe of the famous Naked palette. I've checked swatches and hey, they do look similar! That aside the BYS Nude palette performs well even without trying to copy the original. I like how I can use this even without primer!

Lunasol Party Eyes 2015 in EX01 Shiny Deep Brown. This is my fave compact palette. It's what I go for when I want my eyes finished in two snaps since the texture and colors go on perfectly even without a primer. The applicators, OMG, they actually work. That dark brown matte shadow also doubles as an excellent eyeliner.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip in 22CPeople ask me what to use if they want their lipstick to stay on for as long as possible. The answer? This MUFE lip liner! 22C is a pinkish nude, perfect as a base for MLBB and pink lipsticks.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lip PotionThe Lip Potion is the best liquid lipstick formula I've tried to date. It's solid, doesn't settle on the crease, stays on for a good amount of time, and doesn't dry my lips. So awesome.

Happy Skin Lip & Cheek Mousse in Fall in Love. Happy Skin's lip crayons are huge hits but last year, it's their Lip & Cheek Mousse that rocked my boat. Love the color of Fall In Love, specifically. It's so flattering on me!

Lunasol Full Glamour Lips in EX05 Creamy Mocha. Classy and understated, Lunasol's Creamy Mocha is my ideal chocolate lip color. The formula is also remarkable, since it feels like butter on the lips. Forgot to add it here but yup, it's always in my bag.

So those are my faves from 2015. Yours? ^_^
