These are a few of my favorite things (at the moment)

The past week has been more hectic than usual. I organized and executed events for two different clients so I am just dead tired right now. I just wanna lie down and not get up until next week! I'm not saying I don't like my job, it's just that it's not always as glamorous as it might sound. It involves a lot of literal leg work and generous trading of limited social currency.

At the end of the day, however, I live for the feeling of giving my best work to my clients and friends in the industry.

Anyway, I thought I'd keep today's post chill by sharing with you some of the things I'm loving at the moment. I made it a point to include only items I haven't mentioned here yet! I'm probably doing a full review on them next time, but for now here are some of the reasons I pick up these beauties.

Etude House Don't Worry I'm On Your Side Lip Balm. I've actually had this since September last year and I use it ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME. Why I haven't written about it yet, I don't know. But here it is now. :P This is a moisturizing balm that leaves a pretty and long-wearing salmon pink stain on the lips. It's what I used during autumn in Tokyo because the other lippies I brought were just not hydrating enough!

Shiseido Sheer Eye Zone Corrector. I got this a few weeks back during the brand's Spring launch. This is a sheer brightening concealer that also helps moisturize my under eyes at the same time. It's very thin and not goopy at all though! It's almost like water.

Philosophy Hope In A Tube Eye Cream. Great for maintenance! This doesn't feel heavy and it doesn't block pores around my nose. It's also excellent under makeup.

Burt's Bees Almond & Milk Hand Cream. You guys. This is freakin' amazing. It smells absolutely precious, exactly like a sweet almond and milk drink! I keep applying it on my hands just so I can smell it. I assume this is just the travel size, so I'm definitely purchasing a tube for myself!

Givenchy Play Perfume. It's a sweet burst of citrus on a hot summer day. It's so fresh, I think I'll be using it a lot more this season.

Happy Skin SS Creme. This is a sheer, buildable base that contains no silicone and is ideal for oily skin. I love that it wears well during the day and keeps my face hydrated without adding to the oil! I use the shade 01 Soft Beige, since it adjusts to my skin completely in half an hour.

MAC Golden Hours Mineralize Eyeshadow. This quad is part of MAC's latest collection, A Fantasy Of Flowers. Seriously though I did not like it as soon as I started applying it on my lids. It's flaky, not pigmented at all, and just generally terrible when applied dry even on top of a primer. But work with it wet and it looks super smooth and creamy! So don't bother with a dry brush. Foil it.

NARS Love Blush. I believe this blush was part of NARS' Valentine's collection. In any case, it's a timeless warm matte pink that looks fab on me. It starts off a bit sheer but it's easy enough to build up. Plus, it stays on pretty much all day.

So there you go. :) Any new things you're digging right now?
