Love/Serum Moisturizing Curl Enhancing Serum from Davines

I've been using the Love/Serum Moisturizing Curl Enhancing Serum (P1,203) from Davines for more than a month now. As you could have guessed from my initial review, I absolutely love it! Its a gift to frizzy, messy curly hair like mine.

This serum defines my curls without making them stiff and sticky, although I have to admit, the initial texture and smell is quite unpleasant. It smells off but thankfully the smell dissipates as soon as it dries. Did I get a bad batch? I don't know. I can live with the smell though, as long as I don't jam the stuff near my nose it's no problemo.

Like the smell, the stickiness also disappears after it dries. It doesn't take long.

Love/Serum is super easy to use. I apply a piso-sized amount on damp, combed hair. Then, I twist my hair in a bun and leave it like that for an hour or so. When I comb my hair out with my fingers, they turn to this!

Note that I have naturally curly hair - it might not look the same for chemically treated hair.

I do wish this serum helps with frizziness, but perhaps that's too much to ask. I use a Citre Shine serum to control the frizz, sometimes a White Rain mousse if I need some hold. I'm definitely buying the Love/Serum Moisturizing Curl Enhancing Serum as soon as I run out!
