The elephant in the room

I've had this drastic hair cut for two weeks now and I feel guilty not telling you about it sooner. It's just that for a few days I didn't know how to feel about it. When I left the salon I was squealing in delight. When I woke up the next morning I was all "What the fck did I do to myself?" But now I am super happy about my new look.

Given that my hair is wavy, frizzy, and my face is wide and chubby, only a master hair cutter can make my bob look this good. Oh and a blow drier along with some awesome hair products! Anyway I will write a separate post about my salon experience, but I'll tell you now that this hair cut is worth P6,500. Well, P7,500 including the dye job. I didn't pay for it although when my hair is long again, I have half a mind to go back to that salon!

So why did I do it? Well my hair has become extremely thin on top, so it was getting embarrassing to see my scalp spread out like a bombshell diva on photos. I would even tell photographers NOT to use photos where my scalp is showing, that's how bad it was! Thus, it was time to lessen the hair fall and increase volume on top. The best way to do it is let my long curly hair go.

I had a rough time coping with my new hair in the beginning, but when I got used to it I realized I look good in it. People were complimenting me and well, who doesn't like compliments? I love that I now have more options to style my hair. I want a messy Marion Cotillard curl, defined waves, maybe a pouf on top or slicked back for glamorous evenings - the list is endless!

So there! Expect more posts on hair in the near future. I will finally review my Vidal Sassoon hair blower, that's for sure. :P Oh and did you know Watsons has these awesome P99 barrel brushes?
