Paul Smith Rose Summer Edition

Do you like roses? I do! I love the light, distinctive scent as well as the notion of romance that comes along with this particular flower. Roses smell of love, light, and joy. Don’t you agree?

Paul Smith Rose Summer Edition has all the elegant-yet-edgy appeal of the original, it also echoes the fabulous facets of the season, when excitement meets relaxation, when freshness meets sensuality. At the heart of the original Paul Smith Rose fragrance is the Paul Smith rose, cultivated by an English botanist - a gift to Paul from his wife. Green apple is added. It’s juicy and clean. Combined with a dash of pink pepper, the first spritz delivers a sparkling, sherbetty hit.

Effervescent. Enlivening. Crisp . Combined in the heart notes are Bulgarian Rose absolue, magnolia and violet. These are intensely feminine. Seductively so. And they dry down to a sophisticated, woody base of amber, cedarwood and white musk.

As promised, this designer perfume smells like real roses - just right, not too heavy and slightly musky. The scent also lasts all day even with just a few spritzes. Rose was released just last March so you can still find this in fragrance bars and of course, in Paul Smith stores (I only know of the one in Greenbelt).
