My Experience at Good Molecules' Intimate Event: Exploring the 1% Retinol Night Oil

I recently had the chance to attend an exclusive and intimate event hosted by Good Molecules Philippines. This skincare brand is known for its innovative and affordable products, and they invited us to discover their ucoming release scheduled for Q3, the 1% Retinol Night Oil. Today, I'll share my experience at the event and provide an overview of this new product, so you can decide if it's something you'd like to try.

The gathering in Mamou was a warm and cozy affair, bringing together some of the top beauty influencers in the country. As we enjoyed tasty hors d'oeuvres and refreshing beverages, we discussed the potential impact of Good Molecules' new release on the skincare market.

One of the highlights of the evening was a mini unboxing session, where we got a sneak peek at a cute Good Molecules mini fridge filled with unreleased products. It was fun to speculate about what these products might be!

The main attraction of the event was the unveiling of Good Molecules' 1% Retinol Night Oil. This product combines retinol, known for its anti-aging benefits, with the nourishing properties of plum oil. It is oil-based, which helps maintain the potency and stability of the retinol. The formula contains a 1% concentration of retinol, which can potentially address fine lines, wrinkles, lack of elasticity, and uneven skin tone.

Noteworthy Ingredients:

  1. High-strength 1% retinol - Retinol is a popular ingredient in skincare due to its potential anti-aging benefits.

  2. Soothing, hydrating plum oil - Plum oil is rich in omega fatty acids and polyphenols, which may provide nourishment and hydration for the skin.

To use the product, simply dispense a few drops of the oil onto your fingertips and gently press it into your skin, concentrating on areas of concern. It's recommended to use the product up to three times per week at night. Keep in mind that it's best to avoid using retinol with exfoliating acids like AHAs or BHAs, and to wear SPF during the day, as retinol can increase sun sensitivity. Lastly, avoid contact with the eyes.

The Good Molecules 1% Retinol Night Oil is an interesting new addition to the brand’s expansive line. It’s not out yet here in the Philippines, but the Good Molecules PH team says to watch out for it end of Q2 or early Q3. Is this something that would be perfect for your evening skincare routine?
