Here's what to expect from H&M Beauty, which launches tomorrow
H&M is a retail brand we’ve all come to know and love since they first launched in the Philippines. From fashion to home décor, a trip to H&M is always a thrill. And now, beauty lovers have more reasons to head to their counters! As we reported on BNR last month, H&M Beauty is dropping in store this Friday, September 15.
The massive H&M Beauty line will first be available at the flagship SM Mega Fashion Hall branch but will soon reach other locations such as Robinsons Place Manila, SM North Edsa, Festival Mall, Ayala Center Cebu, SM Mall of Asia, and Greenbelt 4.
And when we say massive, we do mean massive! You can expect Autumn season products that feature glowing skin, striking jewel tones, statement lip colors, and ultra-glossy bold nails. For the face, there's the Hi Definition Invisible Powder that you can use for the powder hack for oily skin. You can also check out the Halo Illuminiser, the Solar Flair Bronzing Powder (P799), and the Pure Radiance Powder Blusher (P799).
The Infinite Impact Eye Color (P349) comes in over a whopping 100 individual shades! Other eye makeup items include the Pure Definition Mascara and the Superfine Browliner to help open up the eyes. They also have beauty tools, hair products, and an extensive collection of nail polishes.
During the sneak peek event, we got some product recos from makeup artist Anthea Bueno. The highly pigmented eyeshadows and the Liquid Eyeliner with the fine applicator are among her top picks, plus the Cream Lipstick in Chestnut (P599). Anthea also recommends the H&M Travel Palette which has eyeshadows, blush, contour, and highlight in one portable palette.
Actress Bela Padilla shared Anthea's liking for the Chestnut shade but since she's more into matte lipsticks, Bela is looking forward to the Bisou Bisou shade. She later switched up her lip color to Ruby, another stunning Cream lipstick shade.
The lipsticks come in cream and matte finish, with the Matte Lip Color (P599) only released last Spring 2017.
My personal picks are the Pure Radiance Blusher in Soft Russet as well as the Cream Lip Color in Brunette Ambition. Both are Fall season picks that go on like a dream! The blush wears beautifully and lasts well throughout the day while the cream lipstick is pigmented and comfortable to wear. The huge selection of around 100 shades will definitely give you whatever shade you’re looking for!
