Double the fun with Estée Lauder

It always tickles our fancy when a brand that we love comes out with new products. In this case, we couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce something new from Estée Lauder! Revamping their cult-fave Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup for Face and Body SPF 15 (P2,400), the brand is adding 8 new shades to extend the range of skin tones and make finding your perfect match that much easier. The full-coverage foundation is known for its smooth velvet finish and ability to not only hide scars, marks and blemishes, but provide a comfortable, sweat- and humidity-resistant base all day!

Estée is also bringing out the Double Wear Custom Coverage Correcting Duos (P1,900) in 8 shades to make evening out your skin tone faster and easier. The Light end of the corrector targets larger surface areas and brightens the complexion with its medium coverage, while the Full side has 24-hour wear and waterproof and transfer resistant properties.

Both Estée Lauder products will be available this February in Rustan’s Makati, Rustan’s Shangri-la, Rustan’s Alabang, Rustan’s Gateway, Rustan’s Cebu, SM MOA Main Mall, SM MOA Department Store, SM Aura, SM Makati, SM Megamall Fashion Hall, SM Megamall Department Store, SM North EDSA, Lucky Chinatown, and Podium.

Boss Lady and All-around Babe

It looks like “It Girl” and Sunnies genius Martine Cajucom can now add “beauty brand ambassador” to her long list of achievements. The stylish social media maven is the newest face of Ever Bilena Cosmetics, bringing the #BossLady vibes to their line. Apparently, Martine has always been a fan of the budget-friendly brand, revealing in an interview a couple of years back that she loves using their lipsticks. No word yet if she will be modeling anything specific, but the EB Facebook Page has tons of teaser videos of the gorgeous model swiping lipsticks and applying mascara. Check them out here.

Just a MATTE(r) of time

They’re finally here! If you spending hours ogling Youtube beauty videos (like me) then you’ll know that Maybelline has been killing it in the drugstore beauty scene. From their super successful collab with model Gigi Hadid to their incredible Fit Me line, the brand is constantly coming out with new products that can rival higher end brands. Which is why it’s super exciting that their best selling SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks are finally in the Philippines! The non-drying and super long-lasting liquid lippies last up to 16 hours and are now available nationwide for just P299! We’ve got our eye on Pioneer (bright red), Escapist (dark plum), Dreamer (pinky mauve) ,and Heroine (red orange). Swatches coming up soon!

Breaking beauty boundaries

As if having Wonder Woman in their line-up wasn’t enough, Revlon continues to break beauty boundaries with their exceptional choices, both with their products and with their global ambassadors. After bringing in real-life wonder woman Gal Gadot (actress, soldier, mother and former Miss Israel) to spearhead their empowerment campaign, the brand continues to make waves by bringing in another powerful face in the world of beauty and fashion - plus size model Ashley Graham. The outspoken beauty has never been shy about breaking stereotypes and living her life to the fullest, which is perfect as Revlon has included her to be part of their Live Boldly campaign.

Graham is the first ever plus-size model to land a beauty campaign with Revlon, and will hopefully not be the last. The brand has also managed to rope in other powerful women into the campaign, like model of the year and founder of Gurls Talk Adwoa Aboah, top Arabic-African supermodel Imaan Hammam, and Brazilian environmentalist Raquel Zimmermann. We can expect to see more of these beauties in Revlon’s campaigns to inspire us to #LiveBoldly this 2018! Follow the campaign on the Revlon website and Instagram.

Sultry, spicy, and super sexy

When it comes to epic celebrity collaborations, MAC Cosmetics is ahead of the pack. With the announcement of our very own Maine Mendoza coming out with her own lipstick shade (we are buzzing!) we can’t help but be excited for what else the beaut giant has in-store for us. Luckily enough, we won’t have to wait for very long because the brand has also teamed up with model, Top Chef host and actress Padma Lakshmi to come out with her own capsule collection that is beyond sexy! The 17-piece collection will include lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes, liners, blushes, and brushes. Inspired by Padma’s sultry look and sophisticated style, the products are adorned in gorgeous gold packaging and will be available on March 15.

Keeping up with Koko

Why does it feel like even the Kardashians are also trying their best to keep up with each other? With Kylie and Kim already heading their own successful makeup lines, it looks like one more sister may be throwing her hat in the makeup ring. TMZ reports that Khloe Kardashian has reportedly trademarked the name “KOKO Kollection by Khloe Kardashian” and “KOKO Kollection”. Although there are no other details on whether or not this will be a beauty line, the Good American CEO has always expressed her interest and love for all things beauty. Plus, her Koko Collection with younger sister Kylie for Kylie Cosmetics did phenomenally well that we wouldn’t be surprised if she ended up with her own line, too.
