Which Benefit Boi-ing Concealer is right for you? A primer on the new line

We love our flaws, blemishes and all, but it never hurts to conceal them when we need to look polished and professional. We'll need more than foundation for dark spots and serious eye baggage though, which is where the magic of concealer comes in! Benefit Cosmetics offers a great solution in its best-selling Boi-ing concealers. Recently, they've introduced a revamped concealer line and a new product.

With a chic packaging makeover and a new addition to the line, the Benefit Boi-ing concealers have the perfect formula for every need. Let's take a look!

Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer (P1,200)

The heavy duty concealer of the pack is the original Boi-ing, now known as the Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer. It "stays put" to conceal dark blemishes, dark circles, and discoloration and offers the heaviest coverage.

Get this if you:

  • Need full coverage for blemishes and dark spots
  • Want a creamy formula
  • Prefer a matte finish

    Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer (P1,200)

The sheerest and most lightweight of the bunch, this product was formerly known as the Fakeup. It's an undereye concealer stick that covers dark circles and fine lines. The hydrating formula promises to provide 6 hours of hydration to dry undereye areas with Vitamin E and apple seed extract.

    Get this if you:

    • Have dry under eye areas
    • Have dark circles and fine lines
    • Prefer a lightweight feel

    Boi-ing Brightening Concealer (P1,200)

Have very dark circles that look almost bluish? This offers full coverage with color-correction properties. Formerly known as the Erase Paste, it has a creamy and easy-to-blend formula. This concealer can take on discolorations and dullness, thanks to its brightening melon undertones.

    Get this if you:

    • Need full coverage, especially for dark under eye circles
    • Want a creamy formula
    • Prefer a radiant finish

    Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer (P1,200)

For light to medium coverage, this all-new product is the one to go for. It has some similarities to the Hydrating Concealer but its silica-infused formula can take on some unevenness and act like a skin “filter”. This one promises to be waterproof and provides an instant "airbrush" finish for up to 10 hours. They also claim that it doesn't crease, cake, or crack even on fine lines around the eyes.

    Get this if you:

    • Have dark circles and fine lines
    • Want waterproof staying power
    • Prefer an “airbrush” finish

In case you missed our IG Stories swatch fest from the event, here are the swatches of all four concealers and the available shades.

All four concealers come in three shades and I found a match in shade #2. My personal favorite would have to be the new Airbrush Concealer because it can substitute for foundation in a flash, especially when you're in a rush and suddenly have to meet with people or go to an event.

Just dab the Airbrush Concealer over the under eye area, around the nose to cover up redness, and around the lips for any veins and you’re good to go! It is also buildable for those areas where you need the extra coverage. For those days when my skin feels extra dry, the Hydrating Concealer is great for quick touch-ups.

The new Benefit Boi-ing Concealers are now available at Benefit stores. And speaking of stores, they've just opened their newest one in Robinson’s Magnolia!

It's big, spacious, and brimming with all the crazy beautiful Benefit products we’ve come to love. You can even go for their dependable brow waxing services, so your arches are always perfectly shaped and read to wow!

Their POREfessional and Hello Flawless lines are constant favorites here at Project Vanity, as well as the Roller Lash Mascara and the Hoola Quickie Contour Stick. And because we're a tad bit brow crazy, we have an extensive review of the 2016 Benefit Brow Collection so you can choose which brow product to go for.

Do drop by the new store and check out the new Boi-ing Concealers! Which one do you think will suit your needs best?
