Five awesome Christmas gift ideas

Christmas is in two months, and while that's more than enough time to prepare, it pays to start early. Malls will be unnavigable by November so it's best to start your Christmas shopping right now. Are you out of Christmas gift ideas? No sweat, I have a few of my own!

Of course, this list is intended mostly for your female friends and relatives. Even if they're not kikay, they'll definitely appreciate these very affordable beauty treasures! They're guaranteed to brighten anyone's day since they work extremely well. On your end, they don't cost much BUT they're far from looking cheap and ending up on your recipient's re-gift basket. ;)

Let's do it!

Asian Secrets Lulur is hands-down the best body scrub I've EVER tried. More importantly, I'm not the only one who thinks so! Almost everyone has tried tried it loved it. No joke. It's only P130 in Watsons too.

WHO TO GIVE IT TO: A friend or relative who's always stressed, with skin looking a little dull. This scrub instantly brightens skin and allows the user to loosen up and enjoy the gentle scrub beads.

The Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipstick is one of the most user-friendly lipsticks I've ever tried, with a quality similar to high-end brands. It's moisturizing so you don't need lip balm - swipe and go! It's perfect for your low-maintenance friend who's looking a little pale. ;) Lipsticks are always day savers, so make sure to pick a fun yet wearable shade. It's only P200 from your Avon lady and comes in 20 beautiful shades.

WHO TO GIVE IT TO: It's perfect for anyone, but to be specific, it's best to give to a friend who is reluctant to use makeup because she feels she doesn't have the time and skills. Prove her wrong by giving this gift! She'll instantly feel more confident and feminine.

Tired of giving the same old bath and body products? Well, you're in for a fresh treat at Yves Rocher. The 100% French manufactured brand has tons of affordable body washes, shampoos, and lotions at less than P300. They also have EDTs for as low as P150. I like that all the products are in simple yet elegant packaging. It's very sosyal so your recipient will think your gift costs A LOT more.

WHO TO GIVE IT TO: The friend or relative who likes the finer things in life. ;) She'll be surprised that your classy and highly effective gift costs so little - but of course, she doesn't have to find out right?

Every girl can use an awesome blush brush to make her face look naturally glowy! The Marionnaud Premium Blush Brush is for your moderately kikay friend who's starting to get into makeup. I promise you that she'll love this! It's the kind of gift that's unconventional yet given with much thought to the right person.

WHO TO GIVE IT TO: Anyone you know who owns a blush. Seriously, it's a must-have!

If your friend is into trinkets and pretty stationery, you should get her something from Pinkbox. You have hundreds of options in just one store! There are accessories, hair styling pieces, pens, notebooks and pads. TIP: you should get her one of their fancy notebooks, especially the ones that are inspired by Moleskine. They have the same type of paper and quality, but they're less than P300.

WHO TO GIVE IT TO: Pinkbox is a gift store so whether your recipient is a little girl or an old aunt, there's something they will appreciate from there.

Notebooks

And that's it. So, if you're my friend you probably already have an, er, inkling of what you're getting for Christmas. Lol! Anyway how about you, what Christmas gift ideas do you have? Please share so everyone has more options!
