FOTD: Light and Bright Makeup

Neutral makeup is all well and good, but sometimes you need to shake it up with bright colors! They don't necessarily have to be loud makeup per se. You can try something colorful but still light and fresh.

Here's my "I'm too lazy to make myself up but I don't want to look too common!" look. Haha. It's pretty basic and should not take more than ten minutes. Since my skin was being nice to me, I decided to skip foundation for the day and just used finishing powders that illuminated my skin and gave me great oil control.

Face: Etude House Magic BB Cream SPF30, Etude Surprise Concealer, Ellana Espresso Con Panna finishing powder mixed with Yellow Submarine (a highlighter), Stilla Illuminating Finishing Powder, NARS Super Orgasm

Eyes: In2It brow kit, purple Nichido Girl's Night Out pencil eyeliner

Lips: Chapstick lip balm, Maybelline COLORsensational lipstick in Plum Perfect

Pick only flattering colors - if you're light-skinned like me, I recommend cool colors from the purple/plum family. If you're morena, you should go for an emerald green eyeliner, a peach lip, and a bronzer to give you that sun-kissed look.

Of course, feel free to mess around with the color combination and have fun with it. I'm merely suggesting colors which would flatter your skin tone best!

PS I LOVE these cheapo Nichido eyeliners that I got. I plan to buy the forest green one, as a matter of fact. Review soon!
